Doctor: mm-hmm <5:39:57 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah <5:39:57 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: I know I've always thought that was such a hard job because you know people come in and sit on something and then and then you know it they either want it or they don't but <5:39:57 PM> Braden - Patient: really know I mean at the end of the day you can't force people to buy something <5:40:14 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: and I feel like it just feel competitive you're like do you have like other coworkers you kind of have to like <5:40:19 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: fight with like I'm taking the sale today <5:40:22 PM> Braden - Patient: yeah it's definitely like oh who's gonna get there first <5:40:23 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah I feel like that makes kind of a stressful work environment how do you feel about that <5:40:33 PM> Braden - Patient: yeah to be honest though I don't really <5:40:38 PM> Braden - Patient: my coworkers aren't really I would say <5:40:42 PM> Braden - Patient: types of people I would be like friends with outside of work so <5:40:46 PM> Braden - Patient: it's not really tough in that sense it's more so just like <5:40:46 PM> Braden - Patient: it's just <5:40:48 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: okay <5:40:51 PM> Braden - Patient: a group of people who <5:40:53 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: oh <5:40:53 PM> Braden - Patient: you know I work with <5:40:55 PM> Braden - Patient: and then I can leave and be you know more a part of like my group of people after <5:40:56 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah tell me more about what you kind of do afterwards for fun with your friends <5:41:07 PM> Braden - Patient: yeah so usually I'll go back home you know <5:41:11 PM> Braden - Patient: and <5:41:11 PM> Braden - Patient: do all the fun stuff of clean all the house stuff you know nothing crazy <5:41:17 PM> Braden - Patient: friends I like to go work out with them and <5:41:21 PM> Braden - Patient: maybe we'll go to the park or just the mall and just hang out and honestly could really be anything <5:41:29 PM> Braden - Patient: I just as long as the company is right I think it's a fun time <5:41:30 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah that's really good to hear sounds like you have a good support system does that correct is that what I'm hearing <5:41:40 PM> Braden - Patient: yeah <5:41:40 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah okay well that's great and so just moving on to kind of what brought in today so it looks like you need a new refill on your medication <5:41:50 PM> Braden - Patient: oh yeah it's the one that we started last time I don't remember the name but it's like the little white one and yeah I think I just have like a few days left and I should probably get that refilled <5:42:00 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah like the Lexapro <5:42:07 PM> Braden - Patient: I think so it's one of like the <5:42:08 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: okay and what have you been using that for <5:42:12 PM> Braden - Patient: I don't know it has a fancy names on it but I think I read that on the bottle <5:42:18 PM> Braden - Patient: uh just for some depression I guess I mean that's what we talked about last time I think <5:42:24 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: good <5:42:26 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah yeah just making sure we're on the same page and also how often do you usually take that <5:42:33 PM> Braden - Patient: I try to take it every day and if I miss I usually take it in the mornings and if I miss a dose I'll take it that night <5:42:34 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: okay <5:42:39 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: okay good so it sounds like you're you know used to take in them so but it seems like you've been running out early is that what I've kind of been noticing <5:42:50 PM> Braden - Patient: I guess there have been a few times where I'll miss a few days and maybe I'll take a few at once or extra to try to like catch up <5:43:00 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: okay what do you mean like ketchup like <5:43:03 PM> Braden - Patient: but yeah <5:43:07 PM> Braden - Patient: or <5:43:07 PM> Braden - Patient: like if I miss a few like a day I might take like maybe two the next day <5:43:09 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: okay <5:43:15 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: mm-hmm <5:43:18 PM> Braden - Patient: maybe like two and a half to like try to <5:43:23 PM> Braden - Patient: get it in my system quicker to not feel down <5:43:25 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: mm-hmm <5:43:25 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah <5:43:29 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: and and if you if you miss a dose <5:43:33 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: and you kind of It kind of <5:43:36 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: and some like dysregulation there how often do you feel like you have to play catch up with your meds <5:43:42 PM> Braden - Patient: maybe once or twice every two or three weeks when life gets busy and it's like oh crap <5:43:43 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: okay <5:43:49 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: hey <5:43:51 PM> Braden - Patient: I forgot <5:43:52 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah and and how how's your mood been recently <5:43:58 PM> Braden - Patient: I mean it's been good <5:43:58 PM> Braden - Patient: I <5:44:02 PM> Braden - Patient: feel more level <5:44:04 PM> Braden - Patient: emotion wise <5:44:05 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: mm-hmm <5:44:08 PM> Braden - Patient: um but nothing you know it's not like a coins flipped and it's <5:44:08 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: mm-hmm yeah and and what I'm hearing is it's kind of it's like it's like a it's a it's a slow kind of <5:44:13 PM> Braden - Patient: a 180 to the other way around <5:44:27 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: not too high not too low you know we're just we're kind of making our way to <5:44:32 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: doing like <5:44:34 PM> Braden - Patient: yeah I think <5:44:34 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: of a balance <5:44:36 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: is that right <5:44:38 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah so I did notice that the prescription it's not due to be refilled for <5:44:52 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: like two more months <5:44:54 PM> Braden - Patient: okay <5:44:57 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: so I was just kind of wondering if like something was happening with the prescription or if you've had to kind of take more to feel <5:45:08 PM> Braden - Patient: I think like what we talked about where if I miss some doses I'll go higher <5:45:10 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: like more of your normal self <5:45:13 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: what's been going on with that <5:45:21 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: okay <5:45:21 PM> Braden - Patient: and <5:45:23 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: mmm <5:45:23 PM> Braden - Patient: every now and then if I'm feeling like really low in the morning <5:45:28 PM> Braden - Patient: and take extra like maybe two or three because sometimes <5:45:33 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: um what's something that might help you <5:45:34 PM> Braden - Patient: with the normal dose I feel great and I'm like well if it's great with the normal one and I'm feeling extra down maybe an extra dose would help me get to normal <5:45:49 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: take take your dose more regularly just so you know <5:45:54 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: you can kind of start be feeling like your regular self <5:45:58 PM> Braden - Patient: I I mean I can get one of those calendar reminders in my phone <5:46:05 PM> Braden - Patient: I mean I have to use it for work anyways I would <5:46:05 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah <5:46:08 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: do those kinds of things normally help you <5:46:15 PM> Braden - Patient: either way I'll see the notification <5:46:19 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: okay and has anything else been going on like what other things are going on in your life that you think might be causing you to miss a dose or need to take extra <5:46:29 PM> Braden - Patient: I mean besides I would say the vast majority of the time is just I forget <5:46:39 PM> Braden - Patient: you know with work and life <5:46:43 PM> Braden - Patient: other than that I mean some days you just don't want to take it for whatever reason <5:46:50 PM> Braden - Patient: and <5:46:51 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: mm-hmm what do you mean by feel weird <5:46:52 PM> Braden - Patient: I don't know sometimes I do feel weird on it but <5:46:56 PM> Braden - Patient: I don't know I guess I just depends on my mood <5:47:01 PM> Braden - Patient: like sometimes I feel really flat after I take it <5:47:08 PM> Braden - Patient: and like not sad but also not happy just kind of there <5:47:14 PM> Braden - Patient: um yeah <5:47:16 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: yeah <5:47:21 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: so <5:47:23 PM> Pooja Kamath - Doctor: what do you think ________________________________________________________________________________ End of transcript at Apr 28, 2025, 5:47:36 PM
