Doctor: what have you guys tried at home to try to help the situation out <3:47:06 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: here um <3:47:13 PM> Tate Barney - Doctor: how is this impacting your relationship with your spouse <3:47:15 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: kind of just like tried to educate him a little bit sometimes we'll use like <3:47:20 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: kind <3:47:20 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: the disciplinarian tactic of <3:47:23 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: scolding him a little bit but that really hasn't helped <3:47:28 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: that we <3:47:30 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: all eat the same things at the table just to make sure that we're not singling him out but feel like nothing is like that hasn't helped either <3:47:38 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: I feel like we're both on the same page he he also wants what's best for him and he kind of he just says like educational things to Aiden but he <3:47:58 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: it's not really straining our marriage we're just both jointly frustrated and <3:48:03 PM> Tate Barney - Doctor: what are you as a family or what is Aiden doing for exercise <3:48:04 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: like we're both relying on each other to kind of <3:48:07 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: further you were just relying on each other and we're both kind of just frustrated <3:48:12 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: um <3:48:18 PM> Tate Barney - Doctor: are you in your husband active <3:48:21 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: really doesn't like to go outside he's a lot we sedentary kind of just stays around in the house <3:48:28 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: yeah <3:48:30 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: oh we like to go and walks pretty much every day and we asked him to come out with us but he never does <3:48:33 PM> Tate Barney - Doctor: why do you think that is <3:48:41 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: fun I'm asked him like hey why don't you coming out with us like holy walking around the only walking around the neighborhood and he said that some people like some friends and others have made fun of his weight so he's pretty hesitant to go outside which kind of makes me sad to <3:48:51 PM> Tate Barney - Doctor: well I'm hearing that the situation is making you and your husband really sad and I can't imagine how hard this must be for Aiden as well <3:49:14 PM> Tate Barney - Doctor: what is your main worry with Aiden <3:49:18 PM> Tate Barney - Doctor: what do you think a solution to this problem might be <3:49:20 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: he's eight years old he's already pretty big for his age my concern is he just gets bigger and bigger and that leads to a lot of problems just in the future for him and his health <3:49:32 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: how I don't really know doc I mean I've tried I feel like I've tried everything that in my power to do like I can't force them to I can I can't force feed him things I can try to just give as much education and help that I can to him but yeah I mean I'm at Whit's End I really don't know what to do <3:49:43 PM> Tate Barney - Doctor: okay <3:50:03 PM> Rahul Manne - Patient: here <3:50:16 PM> Paul Hershberger: I'm gonna go ahead and stop you here because I I think you've gotten to a good point <3:50:23 PM> Paul Hershberger: and we'll talk about it let me ________________________________________________________________________________ End of transcript at May 1, 2025, 3:50:29 PM
