patient: he <1:14:05 PM> Julian - Doctor: en When you're having this drinks on the weekend Can You tell me the right Where ask this <1:14:20 PM> Larry - patient: I mean I do blackout <1:14:37 PM> Larry - patient: sometimes um but you know I don't really see what the big deal is I'm with my wife she takes care of me she doesn't seem to mind <1:14:49 PM> Larry - patient: and <1:14:51 PM> Larry - patient: you know it's like I said I'm just <1:14:54 PM> Larry - patient: you know <1:14:54 PM> Larry - patient: saying and <1:14:56 PM> Larry - patient: to decompress from work and all that so <1:15:01 PM> Larry - patient: oh <1:15:06 PM> Larry - patient: and I would say like sometimes when I go um I don't remember that much but you know I do remember the fun so <1:15:18 PM> Larry - patient: yeah it's hard to say <1:15:22 PM> Larry - patient: know my wife has told me I do blackout on the weekends <1:15:28 PM> Larry - patient: all <1:15:40 PM> Larry - patient: why it's not an issue <1:15:52 PM> Larry - patient: oh um yeah I mean for me you know I only drink two out of five days I mean I just had a physical right and everything appeared formal um I mean my wife doesn't really mind either <1:16:12 PM> Larry - patient: know I just feel like it hasn't really affected my life <1:16:16 PM> Larry - patient: um <1:16:19 PM> Larry - patient: yeah hasn't really affected my job and you know like I said before like my lab values are normal and all that so I'm not you know I do know about like liver <1:16:32 PM> Larry - patient: stuff but <1:16:33 PM> Larry - patient: and everything seems fine so you know <1:17:09 PM> Larry - patient: um <1:17:17 PM> Larry - patient: we'll buy moderate do you mean like <1:17:23 PM> Julian - Doctor: It's Rich so like behavior changes a Being like another I'm not that you drinking con Start the have something a House of <1:17:23 PM> Larry - patient: risk of developing health problems <1:17:33 PM> Larry - patient: okay um <1:17:38 PM> Larry - patient: why don't I never really thought about that um but <1:17:38 PM> Larry - patient: you know <1:17:43 PM> Larry - patient: again just based on like <1:17:46 PM> Larry - patient: well my life is what my life is like I just doesn't feel like a concern <1:17:52 PM> Larry - patient: but it sounds like surveys saying otherwise <1:18:05 PM> Larry - patient: you mean about the drinking <1:18:08 PM> Julian - Doctor: bien Kid You tell me a couple things are you think my Beat at next episode of the drinking <1:18:11 PM> Larry - patient: and <1:18:11 PM> Larry - patient: um yeah you know it's fun makes me feel young <1:18:19 PM> Larry - patient: and it just helps me to relax you know it takes my mind off work and off stress so I mean that's why I do it <1:18:28 PM> Larry - patient: quite <1:18:34 PM> Larry - patient: um <1:18:34 PM> Larry - patient: I mean <1:18:39 PM> Larry - patient: I guess based on what I know is you know yeah <1:18:44 PM> Larry - patient: you know I've heard that um you know people change when they drink <1:18:49 PM> Larry - patient: right so when they're drunk they tend to be somebody they're not you know there's like obvious health problems <1:18:56 PM> Larry - patient: line I guess risks of addiction <1:19:06 PM> Larry - patient: um <1:19:12 PM> Larry - patient: well I never really thought about it that much I mean nobody around me is really sad or anything and again I feel fine <1:19:22 PM> Larry - patient: so you know in my marriage is good it's happy <1:19:27 PM> Larry - patient: um I mean I think it's pretty stable <1:19:30 PM> Larry - patient: so you know if if it was a problem you know I definitely <1:19:36 PM> Larry - patient: you know <1:19:38 PM> Larry - patient: evaluate my life choices <1:19:45 PM> Larry - patient: here um yeah I mean that's how I feel <1:19:57 PM> Larry - patient: I mean right now but <1:20:06 PM> Larry - patient: oh um <1:20:09 PM> Larry - patient: they're really <1:20:11 PM> Larry - patient: about that <1:20:14 PM> Larry - patient: but <1:20:16 PM> Larry - patient: you know <1:20:17 PM> Larry - patient: I guess if it would be bad ten years from now I think about it <1:20:23 PM> Larry - patient: um I don't know I just never really thought that far ahead <1:20:29 PM> Larry - patient: and you know I also thought that um <1:20:34 PM> Larry - patient: I mean my understanding I'll call it's like a gradual progression so if it gets bad you know I'll <1:20:41 PM> Julian - Doctor: Point is going to be Bad for you <1:20:42 PM> Larry - patient: all <1:20:42 PM> Larry - patient: I think about it but you know it's not like an Abrupt thing right like <1:20:47 PM> Larry - patient: sudden <1:20:54 PM> Larry - patient: um <1:20:58 PM> Larry - patient: I mean I guess it would be bad if <1:21:01 PM> Larry - patient: my wife tells me if the people around me tells me that it's bad but so far I haven't really said anything or what's a my lap values start to get worse than yeah <1:21:07 PM> Julian - Doctor: well The One thing with the Love by you starting to get worst this that means that Damme Just already started to done <1:21:25 PM> Julian - Doctor: and That's the point them to you literally think about that <1:21:32 PM> Larry - patient: oh I don't know that doesn't sound very good <1:21:47 PM> Larry - patient: but <1:21:49 PM> Larry - patient: know I don't know I know it's bad but it's also like a lifestyle thing you know I've been doing this for so long <1:21:55 PM> Larry - patient: hard to break a routine <1:22:00 PM> Julian - Doctor: stranger Potter the Everything It's making a differ to stop <1:22:05 PM> Larry - patient: um <1:22:08 PM> Larry - patient: because <1:22:08 PM> Larry - patient: I mean I guess the hardest part is like <1:22:12 PM> Larry - patient: do this with my friends <1:22:15 PM> Larry - patient: up so if I do stop <1:22:18 PM> Larry - patient: know I kind of don't want to break ties either you know <1:22:20 PM> Julian - Doctor: okay <1:22:21 PM> Larry - patient: because my friends right and it's like <1:22:25 PM> Larry - patient: it's like a company sort of thing <1:22:37 PM> Larry - patient: um <1:22:40 PM> Larry - patient: I mean I wouldn't mind that really <1:22:46 PM> Larry - patient: uh <1:22:47 PM> Larry - patient: yeah I mean if you think it's helpful like a drink or two is not <1:22:53 PM> Larry - patient: that much in my opinion <1:23:03 PM> Larry - patient: I mean if you think it'll help <1:23:06 PM> Larry - patient: sure <1:23:11 PM> Angie Castle: all right I'm gonna jump in and stop you ________________________________________________________________________________ End of transcript at Jun 2, 2025, 1:23:15 PM
