Patient: time for much else <2:53:25 PM> Andrew - Doctor: yeah certainly wow school and work what are you studying <2:53:27 PM> Ryan - Patient: a <2:53:34 PM> Andrew - Doctor: of Christians <2:53:35 PM> Ryan - Patient: my well <2:53:38 PM> Ryan - Patient: know just like getting the basics done it right now <2:53:39 PM> Andrew - Doctor: yeah good for you and what do you do for work <2:53:47 PM> Ryan - Patient: mostly <2:53:49 PM> Ryan - Patient: um <2:53:51 PM> Ryan - Patient: just like a entry level office kind of job but it kind of getting used to it <2:53:57 PM> Andrew - Doctor: yeah yeah and so I heard that you said that you've been struggling with work can you tell me more about kind of some of your struggles that you're experiencing <2:53:59 PM> Ryan - Patient: yeah it's just <2:54:11 PM> Ryan - Patient: like <2:54:11 PM> Ryan - Patient: like it's a they're long day is and I just like don't really have the energy <2:54:17 PM> Ryan - Patient: like during the day and then <2:54:21 PM> Ryan - Patient: it just kind of becomes a cycle <2:54:26 PM> Ryan - Patient: and it like when I then I start to get like behind on the stuff and I yeah just worried <2:54:35 PM> Ryan - Patient: like that that stresses me out then <2:54:38 PM> Ryan - Patient: um and the more stressed out I get <2:54:42 PM> Ryan - Patient: the harder it is to get all those things done <2:54:43 PM> Andrew - Doctor: it um yeah thank you for sharing that with me it sounds like you know this has been maybe a repeated thing for the last couple months then is that correct <2:54:55 PM> Ryan - Patient: yeah it's been going on for very good part of the year <2:54:59 PM> Andrew - Doctor: it okay well thank you so what have you done so far to <2:55:09 PM> Andrew - Doctor: me stress in this cycle that you've been experiencing <2:55:11 PM> Ryan - Patient: well I've <2:55:16 PM> Andrew - Doctor: good <2:55:17 PM> Ryan - Patient: I've showed up to <2:55:20 PM> Ryan - Patient: to get some meds I guess <2:55:22 PM> Andrew - Doctor: yeah well I will say kudos to you taking that first step and coming into the office to try to address this situation I'm sure it had to have been difficult but kudos to you for making that first step <2:55:25 PM> Ryan - Patient: otherwise I just been trying to power through <2:55:29 PM> Ryan - Patient: oh yeah I mean I wasn't really know where to start <2:55:29 PM> Ryan - Patient: and <2:55:42 PM> Andrew - Doctor: you tried anything other than the medication so far maybe changing some ways you do things at work or cutting back on some <2:55:54 PM> Andrew - Doctor: some hours <2:56:02 PM> Ryan - Patient: can't really change my work <2:56:06 PM> Andrew - Doctor: yeah certainly so can you think about maybe a time in your life before this when you felt stressed and kind of overwhelmed <2:56:06 PM> Ryan - Patient: I suppose yeah <2:56:21 PM> Andrew - Doctor: what you <2:56:21 PM> Andrew - Doctor: and what kind of tools did you use then to overcome <2:56:21 PM> Ryan - Patient: well <2:56:27 PM> Andrew - Doctor: experiencing <2:56:31 PM> Ryan - Patient: I don't really know if I did <2:56:34 PM> Ryan - Patient: else I've always kind of just like <2:56:35 PM> Andrew - Doctor: this <2:56:37 PM> Ryan - Patient: either been able to manage them myself or <2:56:40 PM> Ryan - Patient: a like get through whatever <2:56:40 PM> Ryan - Patient: period <2:56:43 PM> Andrew - Doctor: it so get through yourself and get through it how do you think that you might have might have done that <2:56:44 PM> Ryan - Patient: that is <2:56:46 PM> Ryan - Patient: a <2:56:56 PM> Ryan - Patient: um <2:57:00 PM> Ryan - Patient: I mean I think I've always kind of <2:57:01 PM> Andrew - Doctor: okay <2:57:05 PM> Ryan - Patient: more force that I don't know that was always the best though <2:57:11 PM> Andrew - Doctor: yeah sure thank you for sharing that <2:57:16 PM> Andrew - Doctor: So when you say forced it do you mean that you just kind of <2:57:20 PM> Ryan - Patient: yeah eventually either <2:57:24 PM> Andrew - Doctor: it just kept on and things slowly got better or <2:57:29 PM> Andrew - Doctor: was there a particular thing that you did that <2:57:38 PM> Ryan - Patient: it's something else came more important or <2:57:43 PM> Ryan - Patient: are it kind of grew grew past it but <2:57:48 PM> Ryan - Patient: I don't <2:57:50 PM> Ryan - Patient: I mean I've always kind of been like <2:57:54 PM> Ryan - Patient: actually able to figure it out myself <2:57:56 PM> Andrew - Doctor: yeah well it sounds like you have done that you know you've made it this far and I know that it may seem like you're going through a lot right now but I think this is something that we can get through together and I think you have the tools to do that so I just want to kind of rephrase some of the stuff that you've said <2:58:22 PM> Andrew - Doctor: How likely do you feel like you can kind of power through <2:58:23 PM> Paul Hershberger: I'm gonna stop you here <2:58:28 PM> Andrew - Doctor: the the work complications that you're experiencing <2:58:34 PM> Paul Hershberger: let me <2:58:36 PM> Paul Hershberger: the recording stopped ________________________________________________________________________________ End of transcript at Jun 2, 2025, 2:58:42 PM
