mainly just some here for like a ball up appointment I know recently you increase my dose on my anxiety so just just a follow-up check-in just to talk <5:13:23 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: okay since that increase do you need a more of the medication <5:13:40 PM> Jackie_patient: I don't think so I know I've been on it for six months I feel like my symptoms have gotten better but I'm still feeling depressed in a little anxious at times <5:13:42 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: okay tell me a little tell me a little bit more about that <5:13:55 PM> Jackie_patient: well <5:13:56 PM> Jackie_patient: feel like I'm not having any thoughts of wanting to harm myself anymore I just think mainly just a lot of my worries are just coming from my job <5:14:02 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: okay I know we increase that dose for your medication besides the medication have you what else have you tried for your anxiety <5:14:17 PM> Jackie_patient: I've been trying to exercise more and stuff I've been playing tennis again and it's been it's been it's finally getting warm outside again summer starting so I've been going on walks a lot more so I feel that's helped my mood somewhat I feel like I'm not I'm trying not to stay outside anymore just because work is stressful so I feel like being out in nature doing something that I like like tennis that's kind of helped take helps distract my mind for a little bit <5:14:19 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: definitely I always like to hear that patient and getting outside and kind of taking advantage of the nice weather so I'm very happy to hear that you've been doing that but I'm also very happy here that <5:14:57 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: like it's helping you out I know last time we discussed maybe having you see like a therapist or a psychiatrist <5:15:05 PM> Jackie_patient: Oh no just because I thought I just don't have time just because of my job like my job like if I'm not you know not at if I'm not playing tennis or doing something you know kind of an outlaw like taking walks outside or anything that I'm kind of just thinking about my job and stuff because we have an upcoming evaluation for my job and I just feel like I might not Jackie_patient: um I work at we got a grocery store I'm a cashier but we've been really busy lately so I just feel like you know I just started this job maybe four months ago or so or no not four months I guess maybe I feel like it's been four months four months since I've been really kind of feeling the pressure I guess on me because they keep telling us we have quarterly eval so every three months we're getting evaluated so this last quarter evaluation that's coming up I feel like I've put a lot more pressure on myself just because I feel like when I first started I kind of had some issues transitioning to the new job and then now I have this cashier spot and you know I want to do well and and everything so <5:16:16 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: know that's I I can understand that the pressures you're under <5:16:22 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: what are your current hours that I know you mentioned even having difficulty finding the time for the appointment <5:16:25 PM> Jackie_patient: it's I typically come in around 7:30 so like 7:30 to like 4:00 <5:16:30 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: now <5:16:39 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: on a scale of 1 to 10 on the one to 10 <5:16:43 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: how important do you find seeing the therapist for your anxiety like one being not born in all 10 being I want to go right now <5:16:50 PM> Jackie_patient: probably a five <5:16:52 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: okay <5:16:56 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: and so besides like the work well other apprehensions do you have for seeing the therapist <5:16:58 PM> Jackie_patient: well I feel like because it's in the five I feel like it's like in the middle so I feel like on one hand I do think talking to someone else about what what my thoughts are and everything kind of getting out of my head would be a good idea but then another hand I feel like I've never had to use a therapist in the past and you know I've been on this medication that for a while you know like at least six months and I feel like I've been handling my anxiety <5:17:04 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: yeah I I hear what you're saying but <5:17:28 PM> Jackie_patient: decently well you know up to this point so I feel like I don't really know what else like a therapist would have to offer <5:17:35 PM> Jackie_patient: specifically <5:17:38 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: the good thing is like you mentioned you mean you definitely seem as though you've been mentioned me taking the medication going outside <5:17:47 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: therapist can definitely kind of help <5:17:50 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: you help with different coping strategies <5:17:53 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: and different tools you can kind of implement because as you mentioned work has been kind of stressful recently <5:18:00 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: now in terms of like your schedule because I know you mention it it's busy <5:18:07 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: what are some salute some potential solutions that you could see that would kind of help you with scheduling an appointment <5:18:07 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: with <5:18:09 PM> Jackie_patient: maybe I think I also think too because I do have this upcoming evaluation coming up I've been kind of nervous to say oh hey if I have to miss you know part of my shift I wonder if that's gonna look bad or be deemed against me so I kind of been nervous to go to my supervisor about saying hey you know my doctor's been telling me to see a therapist because I mean I haven't told me it's like at the back of my mind and stuff like I said I've been okay so far without a therapist but I do see benefits in it too going to a therapist so I think that's another barrier besides the workout or just knowing that I've I'm getting up come this upcoming evaluation coming up and just I don't want you know them to have find something else negative to put on my record or form <5:18:15 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: therapist <5:18:24 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: okay <5:19:00 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: well I'm sorry I under that pressure <5:19:04 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: would <5:19:05 PM> Jackie_patient: here maybe I just don't know if there's any like doctors and person that do four oclock and stuff so I didn't know if there's like any virtual online apps or something that would be more accessible to make it have to be like in the evenings to see a therapist <5:19:05 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: able to see the therapist after work hours is something you're interested in <5:19:18 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: and just remind me do you work Monday through Friday <5:19:29 PM> Jackie_patient: yes <5:19:32 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: how is this idea sound so I mean I I know a few therapists in the area some have extended hours they worked like five or five thirty <5:19:42 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: would you be open to <5:19:45 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: like us kind of working together and trying to see if there's not a therapist I could see you later in the day after work <5:19:47 PM> Jackie_patient: I think so I think that's doable if they're able to do that <5:19:51 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: okay <5:19:55 PM> Jackie_patient: maybe two just judgment maybe like I said I'm never gone to therapy in the past before like you know yes I saw the doctor came to you know doctors office for a wellness visit and told them about my anxiety and depression then we started the medication and then you know I've been on it you know for you know months now and I feel like you know I've been getting by for like my moods getting better it's not perfect but I feel like you know I've been handling it okay so I feel like you know if they're pissed wasn't exactly like something I urgently needed to do right now <5:19:57 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: with <5:19:57 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: so besides like the timing well other apprehensions do you have or yeah whether apprehensions you have <5:20:06 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: in therapist <5:20:15 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: yeah <5:20:38 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: I I hear what you're saying the good thing is I mean as with our visits the therapist visits for what we always remain confidential no one would know you're going to the therapist and lets you where it's tell someone and even if you were I think mental health is one of those things that is very important <5:20:56 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: and seeing the therapist should be seen more as you <5:21:03 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: exercising right HB seen as you are taking the right steps to protect your mental health and to kind of handle the current stressors that you have in life as most people do have stressors in life and it's always a good thing to kind of handle them <5:21:17 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: so that's why I can't get a feeling from you scale of one to ten I know I asked this earlier one being I don't want to go at all 10 being let's go ahead and make a schedule appointment <5:21:29 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: I will likely are you to schedule appointment with the therapist <5:21:31 PM> Jackie_patient: probably a three right now <5:21:32 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: okay how how come <5:21:37 PM> Jackie_patient: he like I said I feel like you know I said a five before my interest in theory but I'm interested in it but I just feel like it's not urgent urgently needed by now I feel like you know me doing you know taking the medication periodically checking it was you know you like my doctor and then just playing tennis more often and getting outside I feel like it's it's been enough so far I feel like where I don't think I need that but I like having access to it so I feel like if I needed I'm glad that I have a referral and somebody to go to I absolutely need it <5:22:12 PM> Anes Gadun _doctor: sounds good so how is this sound how about I I'll go ahead and write your
