patient: yeah I mean it's just so many and I <3:23:41 PM> Marcelo - patient: sometimes this guy I get annoyed having to take all these medications so <3:23:46 PM> Marcelo - patient: I just take whatever I want whenever I want <3:23:49 PM> Marcelo - patient: it I mean yeah I just don't understand why I need all these medications like why can't you just give me one and then solve my problem <3:23:49 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: so I'm sorry to hear that you've been annoyed has this stopped you from taking the medications <3:23:57 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: okay <3:24:01 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: oh well if it was that easy I would do it I mean I've heard this from lots of patience you're not the first and you won't be the last that pill burden having a lot of pills is annoying and our goal is to work towards a future where you don't have to take as many <3:24:04 PM> Marcelo - patient: yeah I just like I said I it's just way too many I am tired of taking these every day I feel like I have to <3:24:35 PM> Marcelo - patient: you reminding myself and I'm and I just you know <3:24:39 PM> Marcelo - doctor: okay well what are the reasons for taking the medications <3:24:53 PM> Marcelo - patient: I mean I you know my my health problems or my doctor I mean I have <3:25:04 PM> Marcelo - patient: these things going on with me you guys had to have a high blood pressure I said I'm over waves that I have diabetes and all these other things and I feel pretty good I think I mean in a good shape but <3:25:16 PM> Marcelo - patient: I just don't understand why I have to keep taking so many medications <3:25:18 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: okay well like I said it's a common thing that we hear and I want to emphasize that we're on the same page here our goal is to help you get better and make it so you don't have to take so many pills <3:25:20 PM> Marcelo - patient: mm-hmm <3:25:30 PM> Marcelo - patient: oh I don't think they're barriers I mean I I get all them you know deliver to the house so it's <3:25:36 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: are there any barriers that you're facing <3:25:48 PM> Marcelo - patient: I have him here I just don't feel like taking them you know like I <3:25:53 PM> Marcelo - patient: I'm old I'm gonna die soon so what's the point of me even like keep taking them you know <3:25:55 PM> Nicholas Sze - patient: to find things to to be happy about you know a lot of my friends are already passed away and <3:27:23 PM> Marcelo - patient: I don't do much besides to stay around the house so it's like <3:27:27 PM> Marcelo - patient: the point you know <3:27:28 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: I'm sorry to hear that your friends have passed away when they did how did that make you feel <3:27:29 PM> Marcelo - patient: I mean I was sad but then after you know the third one I was just like okay that's just that's just life and when it's when it's my time going to be and <3:27:43 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: okay well you felt sad What specifically did you feel sad about just I'm not being there <3:27:45 PM> Marcelo - patient: yeah <3:27:48 PM> Marcelo - patient: here I mean just when you when you lose somebody you care about you know it's hard and and you go through the grieving process and <3:27:55 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: is it <3:28:03 PM> Marcelo - patient: but after like I said after the third one it just kind of became my normal <3:28:05 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: well you said that a couple of friends had passed do you still have friends in your life right now <3:28:07 PM> Marcelo - patient: I mean yeah I I live at a senior home so we do have I do have people here that will do activities and stuff with but some of those people are <3:28:27 PM> Marcelo - patient: we talked about how many medications we all take and I just don't understand why I take so many of them and some of these people just take a very few and and we look the same you know <3:28:39 PM> Marcelo - patient: I mean I'm sure there are still feel sad but you know that's just that's just how life is <3:28:40 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: well it sounds like you have people in your life that do care about you <3:28:45 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: how do you think it would make them feel if you were to suddenly pass away or something awful was to happen here <3:28:59 PM> Nicholas Sze - doctor: hmm <3:28:59 PM> Marcelo - patient: I mean I don't know a lot of the like I said a lot of the folks here kind of like me you don't even know what our medications are for they are doctors just tell us to say hey you got to take this so we just take this and <3:29:00 PM> Nicholas Sze -
