Doctor joined the conference <2:49:04 PM> Angie Castle - Patient joined the conference <2:49:05 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: um yeah I <2:49:05 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: I <2:49:05 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: so tell me how you've been feeling recently <2:49:14 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: like the medications helping some but I just there's just a lot of stress going on in my life and so <2:49:21 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: I still just don't feel like I'm feeling the best <2:49:25 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah recently my roommate moved out and it was kind of unexpected so I'm a little worried about finances coming up I wasn't really prepared to take on paying rent by myself um it's also been kind of lonely there <2:49:26 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: what kind of stressors are going on <2:49:44 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: um <2:49:46 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: and you know with not feeling so good I'm not been doing so well at work <2:49:46 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: and <2:49:52 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: and with that <2:49:55 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: have a job evaluation coming up and I'm getting kind of worried about it <2:49:59 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: it <2:49:59 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: oh yeah I <2:50:00 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: it sounds like a lot to handle right now <2:50:06 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: a kind of happened at once on top of not feeling well to begin with and I don't know <2:50:12 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: don't know how to kind of you know fix it like I I felt like taking the medication was going to help and then all these other things kind of compounded on top of me <2:50:13 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: here <2:50:23 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: if there was one <2:50:26 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: of those stressors that you could tackle right now <2:50:31 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: which one would that be <2:50:32 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: or <2:50:32 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah I mean I think if I knew that I was going to be able to pay rent by myself <2:50:41 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: find a new roommate that you know matched my style I just don't want to get a roommate who's really loud or sees up late <2:50:51 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: I think if I knew I could afford rent by myself that would lessen the stress for me to be able to focus on work <2:50:58 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: but I I don't know for sure that I can do that <2:51:00 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: yeah what would be the next step at this point you could take in order to either find a roommate or <2:51:12 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: I've been looking I've been like posting on some like roommate boards and stuff been talking to some friends and family just nobody really needs a roommate right now <2:51:14 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: yet <2:51:25 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: um so I didn't know if I needed to start and shift and look for another second job <2:51:25 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: or <2:51:34 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: maybe look for a different place to live I'm not sure I've been kind of exploring all options <2:51:41 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: for this next month or this upcoming month do you have the resources to pay rent or <2:51:52 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: will you be late this <2:51:55 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: hi this next month I'll be okay I have a little bit saved up that I should be able to pay rent this next month so I've got a little bit of time but it's not something I don't I don't feel like I can do every month <2:52:07 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: mmm how long would you be able to sustain that <2:52:10 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: um probably just like one or two months <2:52:15 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: okay what would it look like if you got a second job <2:52:18 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah I feel like I wouldn't have much time for <2:52:29 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: like Hobbies or like seeing any friends and since I would be living by myself it would be even lonely or I feel like so I I worry that like you know how I've been feeling might get a little bit worse because I would just be doing nothing but working <2:52:40 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: yeah definitely the <2:52:49 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: and stresses of adding more to your plate takeaway from some of those things that might <2:52:57 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: refill your cup or make you feel better <2:52:58 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah <2:53:00 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: a <2:53:03 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: besides finding a new roommate <2:53:10 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: and besides <2:53:13 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: working a second job what are some other options <2:53:18 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: even if that means moving out have you looked into other places or <2:53:19 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah I've you know even looked into maybe if I had to move back home with my parents for a while and get a different job they live quite a ways away so I would have to get a different job but I've considered that it's not really something I want to do at 25 but there's worse things in the world but yeah I I kind of like my Independence and I I like my job so you know I'd like to stay where I'm at but if all else fails you know I'm gonna have to have like a serious backup plan <2:53:50 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: here <2:54:03 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: of the three things we've talked about as far as finding a new roommate potentially moving to a new place working a second job or moving back in with your parents <2:54:03 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: which <2:54:14 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: one of those do you think is <2:54:17 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: a <2:54:20 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: most <2:54:22 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: doable or the most likely option at this point <2:54:28 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: well I think what I'm going to do is maybe all three I think I'm gonna continue to look for a roommate <2:54:28 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: okay <2:54:36 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: while I also maybe look for like a second part-time job <2:54:36 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: and <2:54:40 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: all else fails if it comes down to it at the end of you know next month if I can't afford rent I might have to move back home <2:54:49 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah <2:54:50 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: up <2:54:54 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: how is <2:54:58 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: how old do you think all of this is affecting your mood day-to-day <2:55:04 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: three <2:55:06 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: been hard to find like joy in anything because I'm just constantly stressed I feel like it's been hard to you know want to go to the gym or work out or go for a walk <2:55:18 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: um it's like hard to focus at times <2:55:22 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: so you know I felt like the medication had helped initially and really kind of helped with some of those things that like <2:55:30 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: he wonder if we should increase the dose again or something <2:55:35 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: how might increasing the dose <2:55:39 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: help some of those outside factors that are at play here <2:55:41 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: but <2:55:41 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah I obviously know that changing the medication won't change those things <2:55:51 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: it I was hoping maybe it would make it more tolerable to <2:55:55 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: sustain or get through those feelings <2:55:59 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: um I don't know <2:56:04 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: do you think <2:56:06 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: how my <2:56:08 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: your mood change if we stayed at the same dose <2:56:16 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah if we stayed at the same dose I think that <2:56:21 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: I think it would depend on if some of those other outside stressors changed maybe if they would alleviate I could focus more on my mental health <2:56:28 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: here definitely <2:56:37 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: and <2:56:43 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: I know we've talked about maybe incorporating therapy in the past what are your thoughts about that <2:56:50 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah I I really hadn't reached out to anyone because I'm concerned about like the cost I don't have great health insurance at the job that I met and so I'm worried it's going to be like you know a hundred dollars a session and <2:57:14 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: not sure that it's going to help and then I I feel like it'll <2:57:18 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: get harder to pay rent <2:57:20 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: make me more stressed <2:57:20 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: so <2:57:22 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: I think I'm mostly worried about the cost when it comes to insurance <2:57:27 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: um <2:57:29 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: if cost wasn't a factor would you be open to it <2:57:38 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: I I think I'd at least be willing to give it a shot <2:57:42 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: I would just want to find somebody who <2:57:46 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: can help I just don't want to sit around and talk about my problems all day like I want to be able to feel better and move forward <2:57:57 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: what do you think you would talk about in therapy that would help <2:57:58 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: um <2:58:05 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: some of <2:58:05 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: up so maybe more of like an active approach to give strategies of how to maybe optimize <2:58:08 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah I guess I would want to focus not so much on this stuff that I couldn't control like my roommate moving out or finances like I'd want to focus on like you know the fact that my mood sometimes is crummy it's kind of hard to sleep sometimes you know more of like the habits of things that I've gotten into so that I could feel a little bit better <2:58:40 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: those things you can't control <2:58:42 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: yeah <2:58:43 PM> Angie Castle - Patient: okay we'll stop there okay <2:58:45 PM> Bailey Hangen - Doctor: here ________________________________________________________________________________ End of transcript at Aug 25, 2025, 2:58:51 PM
