doctor: and so you just <3:41:30 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: medication refills that's pretty much all we need to discuss <3:41:35 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah it sounds like <3:41:41 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah that's that's quite a bit is that has that been an issue for you <3:41:42 PM> Alex Becker - patient: it's just a little frustrating you know like a time to wake up I go take my pills so I just ate breakfast and I don't even take another one and then lunch another one and then dinner another one and then going to bed time taking another one it's just you know kind of annoying <3:41:46 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah that's definitely it can be a hard thing to remember to take your medications I'm sorry you're going through that <3:42:01 PM> Alex Becker - patient: no I mean I don't forget <3:42:08 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: is there <3:42:10 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: do you ever forget to take your meds <3:42:12 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah so it's it sounds like it is very annoying thing to deal with <3:42:15 PM> Alex Becker - patient: just you know I'm sitting on my couch <3:42:19 PM> Alex Becker - patient: Emi food I don't want to go get it I don't necessarily forgetful thing just <3:42:24 PM> Alex Becker - patient: why all the time it's just annoying I don't want to deal with it <3:42:35 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: is <3:42:37 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: I'm sorry I lost my train of thought there <3:42:40 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: okay I completely lost my train of thought sorry I just a second <3:42:49 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: so yeah <3:42:51 PM> Alex Becker - patient: oh <3:42:55 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: like the medications are helpful to you <3:42:58 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah it has that do you feel like that's improving your health <3:43:00 PM> Alex Becker - patient: time I come in here and you check my values that they seem to be a little better when I take it more consistently <3:43:10 PM> Alex Becker - patient: I guess I have aches and pains I mean I can see <3:43:16 PM> Alex Becker - patient: why it could be good to help some of these things you you know I've heard that high blood pressure might kill me and I've heard that my cholesterol is going to be a problem someday and I feel that a little bit with my heart already but <3:43:28 PM> Alex Becker - patient: yeah I can see how it could help <3:43:29 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: it sounds like you know some of the negative effects of <3:43:32 PM> Alex Becker - patient: yeah the ads on the TVs will tell you I oh this will increase your life this one will make things better I still just feel kind of crappy most of the time I don't I don't know <3:43:36 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: not taking the medications <3:43:39 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah <3:43:49 PM> Alex Becker - patient: I don't feel like I did 20 years ago <3:43:52 PM> Alex Becker - patient: well 20 years ago I was only 40 I still go outside my 10 year old kids and throw football around and <3:43:54 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: what he mean by that <3:43:56 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah so it sounds like you used to enjoy getting around a lot more than you are now is that correct what I'm here <3:44:06 PM> Alex Becker - patient: I'll do whatever I want to do I would go on a hike here and there now it's I don't want to go up you know sometimes gets hard to walk to the kitchen <3:44:22 PM> Alex Becker - patient: yeah yeah <3:44:25 PM> Alex Becker - patient: I used to think I was active <3:44:26 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah what kind of activity are you getting now <3:44:27 PM> Alex Becker - patient: you know like I said <3:44:34 PM> Alex Becker - patient: sometimes I feel lucky to walk to the kitchen and pick up my next meal every once in a while you know <3:44:40 PM> Alex Becker - patient: grandkid has a sport then I'll go watch it but I just sit in the bleachers <3:44:46 PM> Alex Becker - patient: he sometimes had to take a break on the way to the stands but <3:44:48 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah how do you feel like your medications you're on are affecting your day-to-day life <3:44:51 PM> Alex Becker - patient: I don't even grocery shop very much these days they just bring home the brain straight to you <3:44:56 PM> Alex Becker - patient: I don't feel anything different day-to-day might take the medications <3:45:01 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah <3:45:08 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: what do you feel like they're making your activity easier <3:45:09 PM> Alex Becker - patient: I mean not really I don't feel what my blood pressure gets high just like come in I measure and it's a little higher maybe I get a headache here and there but I don't really mind I don't have anything important to do <3:45:11 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah <3:45:21 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: if <3:45:21 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: well I guess my question for you would be if you <3:45:26 PM> Alex Becker - patient: my activity levels I don't think would necessarily change maybe if I got worse like you know sometimes have a chest pain when I get up and walk around for too long I mean if that got worse and probably just sit around even more than I do now which you know my family wouldn't like you know I already missed going to games and sometimes they seem to be a little disappointed at me <3:45:31 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: start taking your medications today do you feel how do you feel like that would affect your <3:45:36 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: your activity levels <3:45:39 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah <3:45:57 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: he said yeah it sounds like you're saying that if you stop taking your meds some your you would you agree that you're some of your activity would go down <3:46:03 PM> Alex Becker - patient: but yeah I mean I guess I could see it would go down some <3:46:07 PM> Alex Becker - patient: yeah potentially <3:46:18 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: is that correct <3:46:20 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah absolutely so that would that's definitely one of my concerns with <3:46:27 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: you not taking your meds I just kind of wanted to to weigh on your your understanding of the negative effects of <3:46:36 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: what could happen if you if you <3:46:39 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: you know miss a dose or <3:46:41 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: things like that and it can be hard with all the meds you're taking so I definitely applaud you for <3:46:47 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: hard work you put in <3:46:49 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: it but as far as <3:46:54 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: Josh I'm not really sure where I wanted to go with that <3:47:00 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: do you <3:47:06 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: yeah I don't know is that time <3:47:14 PM> Angie: here <3:47:14 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: that's <3:47:14 PM> Kyle Reynolds - doctor: I guess I can keep asking if ________________________________________________________________________________ End of transcript at Oct 14, 2025, 3:47:21 PM
