doctor joined the conference <2:42:01 PM> Mallory - Patient joined the conference <2:42:02 PM> Lara - doctor: hi Mallory it's nice to see you <2:42:07 PM> Mallory - Patient: hi <2:42:09 PM> Mallory - Patient: um well you have me on that like you know like antidepressant whatever Lex Pro thing and I think I need more so it's not really working <2:42:09 PM> Lara - doctor: what brings you in today <2:42:19 PM> Lara - doctor: tell me more about that <2:42:26 PM> Lara - doctor: okay so it sounds like it kind of has stopped working but you notice the effects more significantly when you first started taking it <2:42:27 PM> Mallory - Patient: it's just not working I don't feel like I feel like when I first started taking it like it definitely helped some and I could feel like such an improvement in my mood and now I just feel like honestly kind of even worse than when like I started it and I don't know if it needs to go up and dose or like a different one but like I just need like something <2:42:48 PM> Mallory - Patient: it's not working <2:42:50 PM> Mallory - Patient: yeah I felt better first started taking it <2:43:00 PM> Lara - doctor: and <2:43:05 PM> Lara - doctor: okay <2:43:06 PM> Lara - doctor: changes have has happened since you started you first started taking the medications <2:43:11 PM> Mallory - Patient: I mean that's what I got I don't really get is because I like before I started taking it like I was just like alone like in my room like all the time like I'd never even like talk to my roommate like I just like hibernated and then after like a few weeks of being on it I was feeling like a lot more like positive kind of about life and like wanting to be more like socially and so I was like you know like kind of like like my roommate and I would have like you know like Bachelor nights and like I would like watch that with her like I would go like me my friends like out like downtown or something like that but now it's like I'm just feeling <2:43:11 PM> Mallory - Patient: like <2:43:52 PM> Mallory - Patient: idea of getting out of bed is <2:43:55 PM> Mallory - Patient: like it just impossible now <2:43:59 PM> Lara - doctor: so when you first started taking it you kind of noticed it helping with your mood you felt more outgoing kind of more social and you hung out with like your roommates and your friends a lot more <2:44:10 PM> Mallory - Patient: I mean yeah I was like yeah I was like the life of the party like everybody loved being like around me then because and it felt like so great like I felt like people actually liked liked me and like that just made everything in life like so much better because yeah like being like the life of the party and everyone like being like excited that you're there and like begging you to like go out because you're so much fun it was like yeah <2:44:20 PM> Lara - doctor: so tell me what's different from that period versus now <2:44:38 PM> Mallory - Patient: I don't know that's what I'm saying is like I would like go out and like you know like drink with my friends and like do all that and it was it was so fun I never I was having the time of my life and now like <2:45:00 PM> Mallory - Patient: I don't have I just don't have the motivation to even like go out I mean like I'm still drinking I guess but it's just kind of by myself now and I just kind of Miss like the social aspect but I also don't miss it because I don't feel motivated <2:45:18 PM> Lara - doctor: tell me a little bit about like your <2:45:18 PM> Lara - doctor: medic <2:45:20 PM> Mallory - Patient: oh <2:45:23 PM> Lara - doctor: Asian routine <2:45:27 PM> Mallory - Patient: so I take that like I I take the med like I swear like I take the med like most days I like as long as I remember like I take it I feel like I only miss like maybe like once or twice like a week and that's only if I was up like super late or something like that but otherwise I'm I'm taking it it just like occasional Miss Miss days <2:45:53 PM> Lara - doctor: okay so you've been taking your medications and then sometimes you'll miss a day or two <2:45:59 PM> Lara - doctor: in the week <2:46:02 PM> Lara - doctor: what has helped you like remember to take your medication <2:46:09 PM> Mallory - Patient: um really not being out so like foray and helps sometimes like if I have like a good like night of sleep I feel like I always like I have it like on my like bathroom counter so like I like literally like all take it whenever I like go in there in the morning but if I <2:46:27 PM> Mallory - Patient: like sleep in super late and I'm like groggy then I'm just like I <2:46:31 PM> Lara - doctor: so being up late kind of <2:46:32 PM> Mallory - Patient: get out of bed so then even if I like yeah just <2:46:39 PM> Lara - doctor: packs you in a way that you kind of forget to take your medication <2:46:45 PM> Mallory - Patient: I think just like having it in the same place like I have it like on my like bathroom counter so then like usually like when I go in and get ready for the morning to like go do something like I'll take it but it's just like if I <2:46:46 PM> Lara - doctor: what helps you stay on track to to keep taking your medication <2:47:10 PM> Mallory - Patient: like <2:47:10 PM> Mallory - Patient: had like a fun night and I'm like sleeping in super late then like I I'm not like getting up to get ready to go anywhere so like I'm not <2:47:19 PM> Mallory - Patient: really like paying attention to like trying to take it because I'm just like I'm fine like I'm just like laying in bed <2:47:21 PM> Lara - doctor: so it sounds like you're making that effort to try to <2:47:26 PM> Mallory - Patient: I I don't know because that's where like I kind of did all I could like my my idea for that was to just have it in the same place and it's really only those times when I'm like <2:47:30 PM> Lara - doctor: remember and try to keep up with your medications you're keeping it in like the same spot and trying to take it every day <2:47:37 PM> Lara - doctor: um which is good and <2:47:40 PM> Lara - doctor: what I asked like what I'm trying to say is like what small step do you think could help you <2:47:47 PM> Lara - doctor: um would your routine in your life like in your daily routine to remember to take the medication <2:48:07 PM> Lara - doctor: how <2:48:09 PM> Mallory - Patient: out super late the night before where I like sleep in really late that I like miss it like otherwise like I'm always taking it and like I so I don't really know what else to do <2:48:21 PM> Mallory - Patient: sleep <2:48:21 PM> Mallory - Patient: to like remember to take it because I feel like I'm doing the right things it's just like I occasionally forget but I feel like I forget for good reason because the whole point of being on this thing was like to make me more social right so like if I'm going out and drinking and being social I feel like that's what I'm supposed to do so then I don't feel that like guilty if I <2:48:36 PM> Lara - doctor: so on one it sounds like on one hand you're using that <2:48:43 PM> Mallory - Patient: and miss it the next morning <2:48:45 PM> Mallory - Patient: no sorry I was not trying to interrupt you <2:48:52 PM> Lara - doctor: you kind of don't like the effects of when you miss your medication <2:48:58 PM> Lara - doctor: but on the other hand you feel like <2:49:01 PM> Lara - doctor: when you do miss it and you go out and hang with your friends you also like <2:49:07 PM> Lara - doctor: that aspect of it <2:49:09 PM> Lara - doctor: um <2:49:11 PM> Lara - doctor: you can go ahead <2:49:15 PM> Mallory - Patient: um <2:49:15 PM> Lara - doctor: I guess what what do you think would be the best <2:49:20 PM> Lara - doctor: strategy moving forward <2:49:28 PM> Mallory - Patient: I guess like I could just like sat an alarm or something even when I go out to like try to wake up in the morning it's just like it's so hard to because like I had a fun night like I went drinking so like I just don't <2:49:45 PM> Mallory - Patient: I don't really know I guess what else to do I feel like it's not really about missing <2:49:45 PM> Mallory - Patient: like <2:49:52 PM> Mallory - Patient: of those couple of doses I feel like I just need like an increase ________________________________________________________________________________ End of transcript at Oct 22, 2025, 2:49:59 PM
