Doctor: okay and was there anything in particular you were doing earlier today that you may contribute to that <7:37:22 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: right <7:37:26 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: no nothing out the ordinary <7:37:29 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay are you eating and drinking fine <7:37:33 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: meals are kind of hard to come by you know but I get my hands on what people hand out to me sometimes <7:37:36 PM> Davud - Doctor: yeah <7:37:42 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay now I believe I talked to you about a week ago when you came in and I think you were having a little bit of different kind of concerns but also some stomach ache and what did the full workout with imaging and some labs done <7:37:46 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: it's all four seasons <7:37:49 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: you <7:37:59 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: you <7:38:04 PM> Davud - Doctor: and I I talked to you about you know <7:38:04 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: here <7:38:08 PM> Davud - Doctor: the reason might be like the alcohol consumption do you what do you remember about our conversation last week <7:38:10 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: like well you know talk I thought I recognized you I thought I remembered you from last week so it's good to see you again sorry what questions did you ask <7:38:20 PM> Davud - Doctor: so what do you what do you feel like maybe different from last time that you visited when we talked about you know that alcohol may be one of the reasons contributing you feeling like this <7:38:25 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: yes <7:38:27 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: here <7:38:36 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: oh I don't know nothing's changed since last oil was a week or so ago <7:38:38 PM> Davud - Doctor: this <7:38:47 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: I haven't eaten anything different <7:38:49 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay <7:38:51 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: I haven't drank more than what I normally drink you know I just the pain feels a little different this time and I feel a little more nauseous this time too <7:39:00 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: oh <7:39:01 PM> Davud - Doctor: and how much would you say you drink <7:39:04 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay how much did you have to pay <7:39:06 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: know it's hard to quantify <7:39:09 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: a couple drinks I'd say <7:39:12 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: mmm <7:39:12 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: maybe <7:39:15 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay <7:39:17 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: few more than a couple <7:39:21 PM> Davud - Doctor: so what are you hoping that we help you with today besides the belly pain <7:39:25 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: black <7:39:28 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: I just want this pain to go away <7:39:28 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay so it's the stomach ache the only concern you have <7:39:31 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: that's <7:39:35 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay <7:39:36 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: yeah my knee hurts a little bit but I kind of stumbled and <7:39:38 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay <7:39:41 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: but <7:39:41 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: it on the ground so yeah that's not the main problem <7:39:46 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: my stomach you know it's it's hurting pretty bad <7:39:47 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay well with definitely will take care of make sure you making sure that your stomach feels better will give you some fluids as well because it looks like you may be a little dehydrated but I want to make sure that we you know it seems like the underlying issue is not properly addressed because you know we've seen you here a few times within this last few weeks so what do you think maybe going on <7:40:04 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: moved <7:40:11 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: looks like <7:40:17 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: I don't really <7:40:17 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: oh no <7:40:18 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay <7:40:23 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: think I have a problem with my drinking you know just sometimes I have a little bit too much <7:40:29 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: yeah <7:40:30 PM> Davud - Doctor: when <7:40:30 PM> Davud - Doctor: and <7:40:32 PM> Davud - Doctor: a little bit too much what do you think <7:40:35 PM> Davud - Doctor: would be helpful for you to make sure that it's not too much <7:40:40 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: I don't know you <7:40:44 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: have sent me to those counselors or other people in the past and I went went well I showed up one time but I didn't really talk to him and then the other times I just not <7:40:58 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: I never really go actually <7:40:59 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay what makes you not want to go <7:41:04 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: just don't want to don't think I have a problem just sometimes have a little too much <7:41:04 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay <7:41:10 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: much to drink <7:41:13 PM> Davud - Doctor: I just <7:41:13 PM> Davud - Doctor: you know I think one of the last few times that you were here you were having an episode of the acute pancreatitis and we had to manage your pain pretty badly <7:41:15 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: here <7:41:22 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: yeah <7:41:25 PM> Davud - Doctor: see what do you think is going to <7:41:26 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: it I don't I don't remember the the pancreatitis I think you said I don't remember what is that can you tell me <7:41:28 PM> Davud - Doctor: up and if you don't make a change with the drinking <7:41:32 PM> Davud - Doctor: so pancreas is being <7:41:40 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: because it doesn't sound good <7:41:43 PM> Davud - Doctor: yeah it's it's a very important organ that is responsible for your hormones but <7:41:48 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: beautiful <7:41:49 PM> Davud - Doctor: a alcohol consumption can really negatively affect that and when you have an acute episode it's really painful and then it can progress to you know chronic conditions and really deteriorate your health and alcohol is one of the top leading causes of it <7:41:51 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: on top of the heart <7:41:58 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: from <7:42:08 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: okay well that that does not sound good I didn't know drinking that much would <7:42:10 PM> Davud - Doctor: yeah um well <7:42:10 PM> Davud - Doctor: like <7:42:19 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: eventually cause something like that <7:42:21 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: okay <7:42:24 PM> Davud - Doctor: I said the belly pain we will definitely make sure we give you some fluids and some medications so you feel better as well as nausea but I want to make sure that you know we address <7:42:29 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: wow <7:42:32 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: Maybe <7:42:36 PM> Davud - Doctor: your alcohol consumption since you said yourself that sometimes you drink a little too much so what can I do to help you with that <7:42:37 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: maybe I should listen to you and <7:42:48 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: to those counselors went up not drinking so much <7:42:49 PM> Davud - Doctor: okay we actually have a social worker here in the ER would you be okay and me asking them to stop by and talking to you <7:42:52 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: super <7:42:57 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: yeah they can stop by I don't know how <7:43:02 PM> Davud - Doctor: yeah yeah we'll wait a little bit we'll give you some medications and fluids and by the time you feel a little bit better you'll be able to talk to them <7:43:06 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: officially be right now because I don't know things just feel a little dizzy you know <7:43:19 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: yes <7:43:19 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: oh <7:43:20 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: okay <7:43:20 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: so <7:43:20 PM> Davud - Doctor: so <7:43:22 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: how would they be able to help me <7:43:25 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: it's <7:43:27 PM> Davud - Doctor: I always talked about the housing previously like you were concerned that you were being kicked out of your current place so I'm sure they will have some kind of resources for you to connect as well as transportation and I know you said you were not a fan of the therapy sessions but you know sometimes it <7:43:28 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: one eight <7:43:43 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: us <7:43:49 PM> Davud - Doctor: more than once and <7:43:52 PM> Davud - Doctor: you may not connect with a certain therapists at first but I would really recommend giving it another try if you if you're open to that <7:43:57 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: yeah I think so and I didn't know they could also help with my housing you know I kind of been jumping from place to place shelters maybe some people I know or sometimes even <7:44:00 PM> Davud - Doctor: yeah <7:44:14 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: so <7:44:14 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: Andrews that say I can sleep there <7:44:18 PM> Evan Hartman - Patient: yeah I think that'd be great they could help me out <7:44:19 PM> Davud - Doctor: all right well thank you Mr Horton <7:44:25 PM> Davud - Doctor: I'll see you in a bit ________________________________________________________________________________ End of transcript at Oct 22, 2025, 7:44:28 PM
